Responsibilities:

Provide physical therapy treatments in accordance with physician's orders.
Maintain written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries for residents.
Collaborate with other healthcare staff to enhance residents' rehabilitation or maintenance of function.
Participate in Resident Care Planning meetings and attend in the absence of the Director of Physical Therapy.
Maintain statistical records of residents' treatments.
Assist with in-service training programs when requested.
Record and update residents' plan of care in the Inter-disciplinary Kardex.
Submit requisitions for necessary supplies.
Assume the Director of Physical Therapy's duties during absences, including supervising Physical Therapy Aides and handling necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an approved school of physical therapy.
State license to practice physical therapy.
New PT Grads are welcome to apply.
Two years of experience in physical therapy preferred.
A genuine interest in creating and participating in physical therapy treatment programs for the geriatric and subacute populations.
Ability to lead and inspire others.
