    Under the general supervision of the IT Supervisor I who supervises the Information Technology Services and Help Center. We will consider T&D assignments for this position.

    The incumbent will provide first and second-level IT support to CalRecycle staff. In addition to providing excellent customer service, they will assist with other duties such as setting up, configuring, installing, troubleshooting, deploying, disposing of, and tracking IT-related equipment and software. They will also provide support with receiving invoices, assisting with Audio/Visual related duties, mass deployments and relocations of IT equipment, troubleshooting connection s issues to VDIs, and IT communications software/hardware.

    The incumbent will perform a variety of additional duties, including monitoring the DORIIS main helpline and emails from the hours of 8 -5 pm; resetting DORIIS user passwords; creating user accounts; monitoring routine scheduled activities; performing data cleansing; creating work tickets; troubleshooting and documenting user issues.

    Recurring travel (long hours of vehicle driving and flights) to three of CalRecycle's Southern California Field offices and to provide support Audio / Visual support is required. There is no guarantee that telework status will be granted. This type of position performs work duties in the office at a minimum of 3 days a week to assist other staff that are teleworking or are physically working in the office. New hires will be asked to work in the office 5 days a week for the first few months until they are eligible for telework.

    This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the CalEPA telework policy and/or future program need. Employees not residing in California are not eligible for telework. Regardless of telework eligibility, all employees may be required to report to the position's designated headquarters location, as indicated on their duty statement, at their own expense.

    7.) Experience handling multiple projects.
    8.) Experience in Setting up Software and Hardware for in-person and Virtual Meetings in conference rooms.
