Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare food to a high-quality standard.
Ensure service units are set up with needed items.
Assigned work areas and equipment are clean, sanitary, and safe.
Items needed to produce menu items are requisitioned, gathered, and transported to the work area using FIFO (First In, First Out).
Menu prep items are prepared and rotated as required.
Products are prepared and maintained at the appropriate levels.
Ensure equipment is operated safely and adequately and is disassembled, cleaned, and sanitized.
Maintain high professional standards of conduct.
Monitors dining room volume and table flow and adjusts production accordingly.

General Responsibilities:

Recognizes, evaluates, and plans for the day's needs, identifies potential problems, and resolves them.
Demonstrates excellence in the following areas: attendance, teamwork, work ethic, positive attitude, professional appearance and demeanor, communication skills, relationship with other staff, relationship with supervisors/management, dedication to delivering excellence to members, and follows all policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: Ability to read and write in English
Speaks conversational English
Experience: A minimum of 12 months of line cook experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club is required.
Physical Demands: Bending, stooping, and standing for long periods. Hand and finger coordination. Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
