    YOUR OPPORTUNITY As the Senior Accountant for Zegna, you will play a key role within the Finance group and works with the Finance staff and report to the Controller.

    HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE Accounting for U.S. and Canadian subsidiaries (4 legal entities) Oversee Revenue Reconciliation and Credit Card Reconciliation Rent & IFRS 16 Accounting Reporting IFRS 16 figures to parent company in Real Estate SAP Tool Oversee property tax accounting and filings Commercial Rent tax accounting and filings Oversee retail subledger reconciliations Oversee business license filings Oversee accountant managing fixed asset activity Concession and Wholecession Accounting Reconile Managerial vs Statutory accounting Prepare internal Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet Reports, and other analyses as needed Prepare Journal Entries and Reconciliations in compliance with group policies and SOX compliance Prepare supporting schedules for financial reports sent to the parent company in the "BPC" system Submit accurate financial reports to the parent company on an ongoing basis Prepare documents for Auditors Sales and Use Tax Analysis and Reconciliation Manage and mentor staff accountant Support staff and management with ad hoc projects Post Journal Entries as needed provided by Controller, COO, FP&A Director, and Parent Company Adhere and comply with SOX controls and compliance


    WHO YOU ARE:

    Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required At least 5 years of related experience in retail, fashion, consumer package goods, or CPA firm Strong computer skills: Excel a must; SAP experience a plus Ability to manage and organize large amounts of information with strong attention to accuracy and detail Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and concurrent tasks while remaining results and deadline driven Highly detail-oriented and organized Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively across departmental functions The hiring range for this position ranges from $100,000-$110,000 annually.

    The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
