Job Description Summary

Performs hosting duties as required. Be the leader in adherence to Forbes standards in regard to reservations and hosting.

Required Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma/GED
• Previous dining room host experience preferred
• Open Table experience preferred but not necessary
• Must be able to obtain aRiverside County Health Department card within one week of employment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

• Insure that Forbes standards are exhibited in all guest interactions.
• Insures that daily side workand opening/closing duties are completed by the host staff.
• Assist the management team in training the host/hostess staff on Forbes Standards and daily operation of the host stand.
• Reservation confirmations on a daily basis.
• Seat guests in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner while ensuring equal distribution of guests among servers.
• Seat guest to optimize the use of the dining room to increase revenue.
• Answer phones and directs calls appropriately.
• Handle initial complaints and inform manager on duty.
• Remain up-to-date on food and beverage offerings and hours of operation for all F&B outlets.
• Remain up-to-date on all ongoing casino promotions.
• Maintain and communicate ongoing casino promotions to all Steakhouse TM's
• Provide excellent guest service to both guests and internal clients.
• Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must me able to stand, move and work throughout the property, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and standing for extended periods of time. Also will be subjected to a smoke filled environment.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
