    Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Support corporate development evaluation of acquisition targets
    • Provide project management and due diligence support for M&A and major capital investments
    • Actively participate in due diligence and deal structuring, including working with legal counsel and third-party advisors
    • Develop detailed financial models and valuation analysis for potential transactions
    • Assist in managing M&A integration processes, actively interfacing with functional leaders to ensure seamless deal execution and integration
    • Track actual performance of acquisitions against deal projections
    • Supporting the production of detailed, bottom-up budgets and forecasts to support short-term and long-term strategic planning, including process development and presentation development
    • Working directly with the various business and functional leaders to educate and support them in developing their strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts
    • Maintain a 13-week rolling cash flow forecast
    • Collaborate with IT in the development, implementation, maintenance and training of business intelligence, scorecards, dashboards, and other monitoring tools
    • Researching and investigating financial and operational performance variance issues and assisting business leaders in taking appropriate corrective actions
    • Providing data and trends related to customers, vendors and markets, that further inform the understanding of key trends in the business
    • Performing economic and industry analyses to identify and recommend response strategies to trends impacting the business

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • 1-3+ years of relevant experience in Finance and FP&A roles
    • Bachelor's Degree required, ideally in finance or accounting
    • A strong track record of financial analysis, preferably in a private equity or banking organization with experience involving acquisitions and/or sale processes; international experience a plus
    • Proven project management skills and an ability to prioritize tasks with competing deadlines
    • Experience and ability to model and synthesize complex financial analysis, operational, and KPI data into concise presentations and decision framework, on a regular basis
    • Experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
    • Solid business acumen, ideally with previous experience in investment banking or private equity ownership
    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail, accuracy and accountability balanced with sound business judgment
    • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines. A high sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
    • Effective time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to adapt and thrive with change and complexity
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite; highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, sumifs) and PowerPoint
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish (highly desired)
