    Description

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage Subcontractor relationships including tactical build schedules, material readiness, stocking levels, and quality requirements as well as strategic operational processes
    Manage EMS RFQ and selection processes including supporting documentation
    Manage supplier relationships for important discrete components
    Utilize ERP/MRP data to analyze supply/demand status quickly and efficiently, then convert this status into purchasing requirements plan to support higher level demand plan
    Analyze and respond to all master schedule and MRP generated material and shop order requirements
    Monitor accuracy of purchasing bills of materials
    Analyze and report availability of purchased material to management
    Ensure flow down of contractual requirements such as special processes, FAI, customer source inspection, etc.
    Maintain schedule and status of deliverables, actions and issues
    Proactively participate in continuous improvement activities affecting the, procurement, build, and test process
    Release and obtain confirmation for purchase orders related to assigned commodities
    Experience with small business program administration (SBLO)
    Other responsibilities as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS:
    Must be knowledgeable with FAR, DFAR & ITAR
    High level understanding of material and planning functions/processes in ERP systems
    Excellent computer and analytical skills including advanced user of MS Excel
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Program or project management skills a plus
