    BASIC FUNCTION:

    TA Manager incorporates best practices associated with the full breadth of talent acquisition and will establish and develop solid working relationships with hiring managers, policies and practices to enhance recruitment efforts, host new hire orientations and duties surrounding successful and seamless onboarding for staff. Lead on implementing enhanced DEI and disability hiring efforts.

    WORK PERFORMED:

    • Large scale recruitment of IT, senior manager and mid-level support roles
    • Screen applicants and refer qualified candidate to assigned hiring managers; collaborate with hiring managers to develop and/or review job descriptions and grades
    • Assist managers with creation of interview questions that reflect position requirements; participate in career fairs, staffing events to enhance employment opportunity awareness and identify viable candidates
    • Develop and update job descriptions and requirements as needed
    • Update and troubleshoot ADP and LinkedIn recruiting modules; enhance recruitment efforts
    • Welcome employees by conducting orientations and enhance onboarding program
    • Circulate policy maker determination memorandum
    • Participate in the collection, analysis and presentation of employment data metrics relating to advertising effectiveness, turnover, diversity and inclusion and other key elements as requested by HR leadership/ESD management
    • Maintain general familiarity of ESD benefits and to respond to inquiries during recruitment or orientation
    • Assists with identifying issues affecting recruitment and implementing activities to continuously improve process
    • Proofread NON BDAs prior to submission; keep non bda spreadsheet w/status updated
    • Recruitment Liaison for other entities
    • Perform other HR duties and projects upon request
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    Education Level required: BA in related discipline preferred; Or a 2-year degree with a minimum of 5 years experience; Or, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Public sector experience a plus.

    Experience required: 3-5 years, heavy talent acquisition, interviewing, scoring, and applicant appraisal. Sourcing via LinkedIn, ADP and Indeed required. Demonstrate expertise handling multiple candidates throughout all stages of recruitment process. Recruiting within ADP Workforce Now and LinkedIn Recruiter a must.

    Knowledge required: Must be adaptable and have an ability to foster a collaborative environment and respect the perspective, recommendations and opinion of others. Articulate complex information through clear, concise and compelling recommendations; exhibit strong attention to detail, independent judgment and critical thinking. Must be able to manage highly sensitive and confidential communications with discretion and integrity. Must be comfortable working under pressure with limited supervision and sound independent judgment. Ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism, diplomacy, discretion firmness and collaboration in dealing with individuals at all levels.
