ABOUT THE JOB
The Senior Architectural Medical Planner is a senior-level subject matter expert in healthcare planning and design, responsible for leading the programming, planning, and clinical integration of complex healthcare facilities. This role bridges clinical operations and architectural design, translating healthcare delivery models into efficient, compliant, and patient-centered environments.
Based in our Seattle office, this position works closely with a transdisciplinary team of architects, designers, planners, and project managers. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple projects at varying scales and brings strong regional healthcare experience in Washington and Oregon, with California experience preferred.
This role is critical to shaping healthcare environments that directly impact patient outcomes, staff effectiveness, and long-term operational success. The Senior Architectural Medical Planner helps align design excellence with real-world healthcare delivery across the region. This is a hybrid role with an expectation of being in the office a minimum of two to three days per week, which should be on one of the firm's three anchor days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday.
