    at Sain Associates
    We are hiring a Traffic Engineer in our Birmingham office.

    On a typical day in this role, you might be designing a new traffic signal, retiming an existing traffic signal system, conducting a traffic impact study, or developing a deployment plan for field devices on an ITS project.

    Must Haves

    Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
    Experience with signal design and timing
    Experience with ITS planning/design
    Experience with traffic impact studies
    Experience with traffic operations and conceptual geometric design
    CADD experience, preferably Microstation
    Experience with capacity analysis software
    Possess strong written and oral communication skills with English proficiency
    Nice-to-Haves

    Project management experience is a plus
    PE licensure is preferred
    Experience with Synchro and/or PTV Vissim
