    Job Description

    Injection Molding Operator at XYZ Company

    As an injection molding operator, your main role involves setting up and operating machines that shape plastic or other materials through the injection molding process. At XYZ Company, we are looking for a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to our manufacturing operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Utilizing numerically controlled injection molding machine to perform operations on various types of plastic materials.
    • Applying basic math and computer skills.
    • Setting up and operating molding machines, lift trucks, and overhead cranes, including mold connections.
    • Following set-up sheet and loading process parameters.
    • Diagnosing and resolving issues in mold set-up and operations.
    • Establishing parameters for machine operation to ensure quality and productivity.
    • Assisting injection molding machine operators when necessary.
    • Operating machines and auxiliary equipment per instructions to meet standards.

    Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent

    • Minimum 2 years of related experience
    • Hands-on experience with injection molding and plastic processing
    • Proficiency in using measurement tools and different plastic materials

    Skills & Abilities:

    • Basic math and computer skills
    • Knowledge of injection molding process and quality control
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Mechanical and electrical knowledge
    • Attention to detail and good communication skills

    Working Environment:

    • Ability to stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods
    • Manual dexterity to operate machinery and tools
    • Effective communication in English
    • Ability to lift weights up to 100 pounds

    • Reporting of all injuries promptly
    • Wearing necessary protective equipment
