Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various electrical systems and a strong understanding of safety protocols. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for electrical work, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment
- Perform regular inspections to identify defects or hazards
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- Troubleshooting, motor starters, switchboards, machinery alarm systems, generators, search light, navigational light systems and MSD systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for electrical work
- Collaborate with other team members on larger projects
- MARINE experience--Tug boat, crew boats, push boats.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Electrician or relevant certification
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics
- Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems
- Familiarity with industrial electrician practices
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and frame carpentry
- Ability to work safely with a variety of hand and power tools
