    Job Description

    General Summary:

    We are seeking Direct Care Staff to work an overnight shift in our group home setting for 3-4 nights a week.

    Shifts vary from 10 pm - 6 am, 9 pm - 7 am, to 8 pm - 8 am.

    Responsibilities include providing direct care to residents and performing housekeeping tasks during the night shift, including weekends. An additional $1 per hour is provided as a weekend shift differential.

    Example of Duties (non-exhaustive list):

    • Coordinate with the PM shift Lead/Sr for a smooth transition of shift and duties
    • Stay awake and attentive to clients' needs throughout the entire shift
    • Regularly check beds and residents, documenting observations accurately
    • Ensure residents are dry, change night clothing and linen as necessary
    • Perform general and specific nighttime cleaning tasks as required
    • Assist with medication administration as instructed
    • Adhere to written programs for clients who wake up during the night
    • Prepare main food dishes for the following day based on menu instructions

    Requirements:

    - Minimum age of 18 years

    - Possess a valid Idaho Driver's License (out-of-state licenses acceptable for 60 days)

    - Clearance from the Department of Health and Welfare Criminal History Unit

    - High school diploma or equivalent

    - Certification in CPR/First Aid, Mandt, and Medication Administration Assistance (can be obtained within 60 days of employment)
