We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional and compassionate manner. We are a Small, family owned dental practice located in Ramona, CA. We will start at 1 day per week and most likely adding a second day in about 2-3 months. Start date is middle to end of May 2024. Any day, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday

Responsibilities:

Perform dental hygiene procedures including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care

Take digital X-Rays (Nomad X-Ray unit)

Administer local anesthetic and apply cavity-preventive agents such as fluorides and sealants

Document patient care and treatment plans in electronic health records

Qualifications:

Certified Dental Hygienist with a valid license in California

Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control protocols

Knowledge of medical terminology, CAD/CAM systems, and dental assisting procedures

Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices

Ability to take vital signs, conduct patient assessments, and assist in dental office procedures
