- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to generate designs for RF, Network, Digital, Power, and Mixed Signal applications
- Design quick-turn printed circuit boards (PCBs) using CAD tools that meet mission requirements for size, power consumption, and capabilities
- Research and develop solutions for productization including I/O, power, casing, and other considerations. Collaborate with mechanical engineers, testers, and other disciplines to rapidly develop fieldable products.
- Identify and coordinate manufacturing with appropriate contract board and assembly houses
- Perform quality assurance and documentation of completed layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, and conformity to standards, procedures, and specifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience designing PCBs including experience with multi-layer boards, SMT, RF, high-speed digital design (i.e. FPGAs), and high-density design.
- Experience with design tools such as Altium and KiCad
- Knowledge and familiarity with concepts related to signal integrity, RF impedance, and EMI
- Understanding of PCB manufacturing and experience quoting and working with contract fabrication and assembly vendors
- Demonstrated experience in using Git or equivalent code version control software
- Comfort with soldering and assembly for prototype or test devices
- Experience in the cybersecurity domain
- Active US Security clearance of Secret level with eligibility to obtain TS/SCI
