    School Psychologist

    Location:Cary, IL

    Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our team in Cary, IL. The School Psychologist will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of our students. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with educators, parents, and munity stakeholders to create a positive and inclusive school environment where all students can thrive.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct prehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning
    • Interpret assessment data to identify students' strengths and areas of need, and develop appropriate interventions and support plans
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with special needs
    • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
    • Support the implementation of school-wide positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) and social-emotional learning (SEL) programs
    • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and serve as a resource to school staff on issues related to child development, mental health, and learning

    Educational Requirements:

    • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field

    Certifications:

    • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working as a School Psychologist in a school or educational setting
    • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act
    • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to municate findings effectively to stakeholders
    • Excellent interpersonal and munication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to support student success
