    Job Title: CNC Programmer
    Location: Solon, OH
    Shift: 1st (6am-3pm)
    Pay: 30/hr TO 40/hr

    Job Description:


    • Setup and optimize run times by installing tools, fixtures and confirming CNC programs are complete and capable of hitting target\
    • Recommend and make necessary program adjustments either at the machine using manual G&M Codes or in CAD/CAM software
    • Creates or verifies set up sheets, procedures and documentation for the manufacturing process
    • Identify opportunities to reduce part machining time by modifying programming, fixtures, tooling, or improving setup while maintaining quality standards
    • Update set-up sheets, fixture documentation and programs post run to ensure improvements are documented for the next run
    • Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and samples to convert to a machining program
    • Recommends cutting tools and creates fixtures to be used in machining components
    • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise, escalating to outside maintenance or repair when needed
    • Support the machine shop team when needed on proper operation of CNC programs created focusing on making quality parts at the targeted production rate
    • Required to complete documentation in an ISO setting when applicable
    • Perform inspections using standard calipers, micrometers and gauges
      Qualifications:
    • Proficient at generating G & M-code CNC programs manually on lathe machine
    • Proficient at interpreting technical drawings and blueprints with knowledge of GD&T to convert print to a machined program

    Experience within the Machining trade:
    Fanuc Controls, Set-ups, and able to perform hands-on work as required

    Proficient computer skills:
    MasterCAM software, Microsoft Excel, Word etc

    • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items of 50lbs and capable of standing for extended periods of time
