    ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in access solutions, is seeking an energetic tax professional to join our growing team. The Manager, Income Tax (Regional) position will manage the Federal tax compliance function for a divisional unit of a US Consolidated Group with revenues in excess of $8B, working closely with internal finance teams and fostering existing relationships is imperative to be successful in this role.

    The successful candidate for this position will be an experienced tax professional possessing 6-10 years Corporate Tax experience with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills. The ideal candidate will be inquisitive, proactive and goal oriented.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities (100%)

    • Review and assist in the preparation and filing of Federal 1120 Corporate income tax returns for multiple domestic legal entities using ONESOURCE software.
    • Maintain accurate workpapers review all necessary adjustments and ensure documentation is complete.
    • Calculate Income tax adjustments, assisting in the Federal Tax provision computation as well as developing future Tax Planning opportunities.
    • Review and coordinate the preparation and filing of quarterly income tax estimates and extensions.
    • Research and consult on various Federal tax matters; utilize OneSource tax software to prepare and process returns and research tax matters.
    • Support the annual true up process, including reconciliation and assist with IFRIC 23 Audit reserve analysis.
    • Assist in the resolution of Tax notices and Income Tax audits.
    • Mentor staff in Federal tax research, law changes and participate in the review and evaluation of their work.

    Education and Experience Profile

    • Minimum 6 years experience in Federal Corporate Income tax.
    • OneSource Income Tax Experience.
    • BS and/or master's in accounting.
    • Thorough understanding of income tax regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Big 4 Exp desired-CPA Preferred.
    • Strong tax research skills.
    • Strong accounting and analytical skills.

    Required Skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical and quantitative abilities
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent in collaborating with various teams.
    • High degree of comfort with change.
    • System Savvy, comfortable working in multiple system environment.
    • Knowledge of SAP, JDE, HFM systems is a plus.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
    • High degree of accuracy, with strong attention to detail.
    • Must maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to close out issues.
    • Works well independently and can collaborate effectively with team members.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    Work Environment

    Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

    Pay Range: $114,599-$168,079.

    This base salary range is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location. ASSA ABLOY conducts regular review of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
