    HEAD OF OPERATIONS

    ZEALOT has an opportunity for a passionate, dedicated Head of Operations to join our team and can be based in the Los Angeles or New York office.

    ZEALOT is a hub of creativity and innovation in entertainment marketing with a rich history of crafting compelling trailers, TV spots, and digital campaigns for some of the most popular film and TV productions in the world.

    The Head of Operations plays a crucial role in the success and growth of the company and is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization's internal workflows, processes, and communication enabling the organization to operate at its full potential.

    Tasks/Responsibilities:

    • and manage the company's internal workflows including Slack, Float, Confluence, Frame IO, Paylocity, and FileMaker Pro and conduct an audit of current communication systems.
    • a central point of contact and facilitate communication and collaboration between departments, including Finance, Production, Post-Production, Graphics, Human Resources, and Information Technology.
    • monthly Management and Department Meetings, spearheading action items.
    • working relationships with staff at all levels, from entry level to management.
    • short and long-term projects designed to improve workflows and best practices. Hold stakeholders accountable for resolution/completion of projects.
    • company needs to enhance productivity and minimize bottlenecks.
    • with Finance on budget forecasts for all projects.
    • with HR to oversee and coordinate the onboarding of all new employees.
    • with the Office Manger to ensure in-office events, meet budgets and timelines.
    • Office Managers, Production Managers, Interns, and PA's

    Facilities Management

    • visit the opposite coast office to gain insights into the workflow and processes.
    • equipment and furniture purchases with IT and Finance.
    • landlord relationships for both NY & LA office locations.
    • cost-effective handling of repairs, improvements, and new initiatives. Proven track record of completing projects on-time and on-budget.
    • with IT on alarm systems, security cameras, and be the first point of contact during incidents.
    • content security compliance with I.T.

    Qualifications:

    • 5 years' experience in Operations or similar relevant experience.
    • to recognize and not repeat the company's confidential sensitive information.
    • Prior experience and knowledge of workflows at a trailer house / creative advertising agency, post-production facility, film studio or TV/Streaming company.
    • knowledge and experience of the systems/software
    • analytical, and motivated.
    • have good people management skills.

    Regular business hours are Mon-Fri 10am to 7pm. – Our standard company policy is minimum 3 days per week in the office, but 5 preferred. The annual pay range for this EXEMPT position is:

    $130K-$180K. Actual offers may vary based on work experience
