    System One has partnered with a dynamic and innovative company in Colorado Springs in their search for an Accounting Manager to join their finance team.

    CPA certification is strongly preferred.


    Job Summary:


    The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
    Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company guidelines.

    Provide variance analysis and insights, prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide management with accurate and timely financial information for decision-making purposes.

    Coordinate and assist with audits, tax filings, and other financial activities to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.

    Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
    Train finance team members on the effective use of NetSuite modules.
    Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the NetSuite system.

    Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and human resources, to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support business objectives.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Active CPA certification strongly preferred.
    Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
    Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards (GAAP).
    Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms preferred.
    Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software implementation.

    Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trends or discrepancies.

    Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

    Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
    Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


    Compensation:
    $90,000-$140,000 (dependent on experience)
