Job description
We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Eastlake, Ohio.This is a Contract to permanent position where you will play a key role in supporting HR operations and ensuring compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR administration and be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate employee records, including compliance documentation such as I-9 forms.
- Generate and analyze HR reports to provide insights for management and compliance purposes.
- Perform administrative HR tasks to support smooth daily operations.
- Partner with HR leadership and team members to execute projects and daily functions.
- Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure new employees are integrated effectively.
- Assist with employee relations by addressing concerns and providing guidance.
- Manage HR compliance processes, ensuring adherence to legal and company standards.
- Utilize HR software and Microsoft Excel to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Support benefit functions and assist employees with related inquiries.
- Collaborate on HRIS system updates and enhancements to improve functionality.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as UKG Ready or UKG Pro.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance and reporting practices.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle employee relations with professionalism and discretion.
- Familiarity with onboarding processes and benefit administration.
- Tech-savvy and adaptable to using various HR software platforms.
