- Designing and implementing individualized physical therapy plans for a pediatric patient population.
- Observe and record results following selected treatments and modify treatment programs to achieve desired results.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans, perform assessments, review patient progress and discuss patient needs.
- Participate in the referral process when needed.
- Implement research-based physical therapy practices.
- Demonstrates sound judgment, initiative and professionalism.
- Provide feedback to patients on their performance, explain the progress of their treatment plan and answer any questions they may have.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- State registered Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
- Previous experience in pediatric physical therapy preferred.
- Ability to create and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
