Bostik Middleton MA Production Operator for 2nd shift Salary Range $31.00 pending experience & Shift Differential Pay Health Benefits DAY 1 of your Employment Signon Bonus $2500 Job dimensions Responsible for the safe operation of the manufacturing operation and compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements Activities Practice Safe work habits in accordance with OSHA EPA guidelines and Bostik specific EHS expectations Follows written instructions and standard operating procedures to manufacture quality products Assist in updating documentation as required Works collaboratively with fellow operators to ensure a quality product is produced Perform preventive maintenance functions as required Assist as needed when available in other areas in Manufacturing Conduct cycle counts as required Operates fork truck and material handling equipment Fills out maintenance Work Orders in the event of foreseen mechanical problems Responsible for incident reporting communications Context and Environment A fast paced high pressure environment where you are involved in a wide variety of functions and activities Accountabilities Production activities to meet Plant business objectives Qualifications Experience Required High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience in manufacturing or production environments is a plus but not required Willingness to learn participate in operatordriven plant lab testing preventive maintenance activities shop floor problem solving workplace organization training provided Ability to work effectively with others teambased environment Good interpersonal skills positive attitude toward collaboration Open to change able adapt new processes work practices Basic problemolving skills ability follow standard procedures Ability communicate effectively both verbally writing
