We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Buildings Engineering Services team in Philadelphia, PA You will assist in the technical and administrative direction and supervision of projects through constant communication with the Project Manager and the client to ensure that the project is completed in accordance with the contract May serve as Project Manager on smaller projects to develop skills for a career path into Project Management Our team works closely as trusted partners with clients throughout the design process to realize a jointly conceived vision We offer a full range of services from preliminary planning and feasibility studies through final design and construction inspection for both full build-out renovations adaptive reuse projects Our markets include commercial development warehousing pre K-12 higher education science technology municipal public works agencies offices corporate facilities retail food Our professionals provide mechanical electrical plumbing MEP design programming corporate branding standards integration workstation specification facilities construction management LEED certification energy solutions We take pride in delivering results that are innovative sustainable award-winning Responsibilities Assist in preparation of effective work plans labor budgets Monitor time schedules capital cost budgets Oversee work productivity Strive achieve predetermined goals profit productivity targets schedule deliverables Participate hold team meetings ensuring procedures governing review approval projects followed prior submission completed work Negotiate clients scope changes relative project budgets schedules subject supervisor approval Ensure all project work performed completed QA/QC standards systems procedures designated project Coordinate communicate effectively employees involved project high utilization rates Review monthly labor cost reports ensure projects being completed pre-established goal Assist mentoring junior staff learning sound technical business practices enhancing corporate objectives Assist preparation public hearings meetings presentations relation current projects Works efficiently Billing Department authorize transmit bills client Follows timely payments Adhere Health Safety program SOPs May oversee activities assigned staff including but not limited timesheet review performance evaluation daily supervision Qualifications Bachelor Master Degree Architecture equivalent experience licensed architect status 8+ years experience Architect Licensure state Pennsylvania required Previous use understanding AutoCAD Revit software ability produce preliminary schematic designs AutoCAD minimum but Revit desired Strong communication skills required Willingness mentor team members technical professional skills Previous business development project management experience preferred planning executing designconstruction projec
