    Description
    Job Type: Entry Level, Full-time
    Join our team as an Entry-Level Buyer and play a key role in supporting purchasing operations that keep our production schedules on track. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow within supply chain or purchasing. You will work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate purchase order processing, timely deliveries, and uninterrupted material flow to production.
    Inline Filling Systems designs and manufactures world-class, application-specific systems for customers across major industries. Our focus on purposeful innovation and operational excellence depends on strong internal processes - including a dependable and detail-oriented purchasing function.
    Responsibilities:
    • Review and process purchase order confirmations to ensure accurate system data.
    • Update vendors' purchase order due dates and follow up on missing confirmations.
    • Contact vendors to resolve past-due orders and coordinate delivery timelines.
    • Monitor and update price information, notifying the Purchasing Manager of significant changes.
    • Assist in purchasing supply and maintenance items for operations.
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies between receipts and invoices.
    • Communicate with operations regarding delays or supply issues that could impact production schedules.
    What You'll Bring:

    • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.
    • Work independently under limited supervision
    Education & Experience:
    • Coursework or foundational knowledge in purchasing, supply chain, or business, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, preferred.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
