    Job Title: RN Pre/Post Cath Lab


     


    RN with 2+ years of recent procedural/cath lab pre/recovery, PACU, or ED, or CICU, or cardiac experience. Shifts: M-F 10 hours; days rotate to MCR/PVH.

    The position involves direct patient care at a proficient level in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. It requires monitoring patients for safety and optimizing outcomes while maximizing available resources.

    The nurse is expected to perform assessments/evaluations/education of patients before and after procedures. Critical situations are handled using established nursing protocols;
    risk-reward analysis skills allow decisive action under pressure when needed within this complex environment providing appropriate education based upon age,culture,family condition circumstances individual circumstance<,
    Responsibilities include performing documented assessment evaluation educates responds life threatening appropriately handles stressful situaitions reacts decisively works minimal supervision evaluates learning needs provides elevant situational information within job critical thinking required use it minimum supervision fast paced intense environments able work without help own initiation take necessary actions according policy procedure guidelines as outlined below:
