Description

Candidate needs to understand all aspects of the RMF Framework [steps 0-6] and how it translates into providing cybersecurity support for information systems.

Candidates should be familiar with conducting a full risk assessment of an information system and how to communicate results with information system stakeholders, leadership, etc.

as well as providing the needed guidance to assist information system stakeholders in addressing findings from the risk assessment.

Candidate should be familiar with ports and protocols management and how it relates to the cyber hygiene of information systems.

Prospective candidates should also have a firm grasp of the role of configuration management within the RMF process and should have a good understanding of the use of Security Technical Implementation Guides [DISA STiGs] to help protect information systems from cybersecurity vulnerabilities.

In addition, the candidate should be a self-starter that needs little or no guidance in carrying out assigned duties/tasks, adaptable to change, able to work in a fast paced dynamic environment and meet various deadlines, able to follow directions, a true Team player with excellent communication skills [written and verbal], able to correspond confidently with all levels of leadership and various program stakeholders without hesitation, the ability to perform deep and meaningful analysis in providing program support and finally, a willingness to learn all aspects of our Governance-Risk

• Compliance tool (eMASS) Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service to manage the RMF process in regards to providing Program Support.

Previous ISSO/ISSM experience is preferred.
