Job description

The breadth of work (fund finance, ABL, corporate finance, acquisition finance, mezz/bridge, multi‑tranche structures) builds a deal sheet that opens doors to private credit, fund finance shops & bank roles.

This role is built for a 4-6 year finance associate ready to own financing transactions from term sheet through closing. As part of their corporate group, you'll lead and support sophisticated matters across fund finance, ABL, secured lending, acquisition finance, and broader corporate finance, working with both borrower and lender clients across multiple U.S. offices.

What You'll Do

Lead and manage financing transactions from kickoff to closing.

Draft, review, and negotiate core finance documents (loan agreements, term sheets, security packages, intercreditors, repurchase agreements).

Run due diligence, prepare issues lists, diligence summaries, and closing checklists.

Serve as primary client contact and coordinate with opposing counsel, junior associates, paralegals, and internal teams.

Advise on post‑closing matters, including CP follow‑ups, joinders, amendments, waivers, and collateral questions.

Support senior attorneys on domestic and cross‑border finance and restructuring matters

Participate in client training and business development initiatives.

Mentor junior associates and contribute to firm‑wide citizenship.

What You'll Need

4-6 years of law firm finance experience
Experience representing either borrowers or lenders, including banks, private credit funds, direct lenders, and corporate borrowers
Hands‑on experience with capital call facilities, NAV facilities, hybrids, warehouse lines, management‑fee facilities, secured lending, syndicated and bilateral facilities, ABL, mezzanine, bridge, refinancing/recap, and acquisition finance
Familiarity with multi‑tranche capital structures, secured/unsecured facilities, and intercreditor arrangements
Strong drafting ability and clear written/oral communication
Demonstrated ability to lead deal process and supervise junior team members
JD from an accredited U.S. law school; bar admission in relevant jurisdiction
Submission must include law school transcript and deal sheet
