    The Engineering Programs Coordinator will prioritize and escalate problems and must be able to appropriately escalate problems to the correct Regional Engineering Manager for resolution, diagnose change control compliance issues, MOP procedural risk, and be willing to see problems through closure. A keen eye for process and recognizing procedural risk if required. The Engineering Programs Coordinator should be able to work under limited guidance from engineering management.

    The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, often communicating with peers, upper management, and clients on technical items. Candidate should also possess a deep understanding of how method of procedures, lockout/tagout, EOPS/SOPs etc. are written and executed. Strong knowledge of the operational functions of critical systems end to end. High degree of flexibility, adaptability, and conflict management capability is a must. Understanding account change control and work scripting procedures is crucial to delivering best in class services to our client.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    A team first mindset: Understanding the success of the organization is key to delivering a Gold Standard of service to our client.

    Ability to collaborate, educate, and partner on methodologies with your peers to produce risk mitigating procedures and do so in a professional manner.

    Responsible for managing client change control systems, impacted work order systems, and understanding the downstream impact to BI systems.

    Oversight of current library of Standard Operating and Methods of Procedures for all Critical Systems Work, with the ability to access and recommend improvements.

    Responsible for administrative review of best-known methods.

    Responsible for maintaining documents and reporting change control data to management.

    Performs other duties as assigned. Serves as the day-to-day contact with the owner's representative.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    A thorough understanding of critical systems, data center engineering background required. Ability to walk a party through switching, deenergizing procedures end to end.

    Experience as a lead engineer, assistant chief or data center environment is a plus. Technical writing experience is preferred.

    Experience in a MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) field

    Experience with digital work scripting libraries and template conversion is a plus.

    Back-up power design and data center design, acronyms, nomenclature, or industry language is a plus.

    Must be proficient in computer applications and software such as Goggle docs, MS Office, Excel, E-Mail, CMMS, and BAS, etc.

    Solid interpersonal skills; works well with teammates.

    Willing to take on growth/stretch assignments.

    Must be well organized and well written.
