The laboratory manager is responsible for managing the laboratory operations and performing laboratory tests on the following construction materials: soils, aggregates, concrete, mortar, asphalt, etc.
The position includes maintaining the laboratory's accreditations by continuing with the upkeep of documents such as equipment calibrations, test results, and evaluations.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a lab manager/technician with experience as a CMT field technician
Technical Requirements:
Concrete Strength Testing Technician
Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I
Aggregate Testing Technician - Level 1
Aggregate Testing Technician - Level 2
TXAPA Level 1A, Level 1B
TXAPA SB 101, SB102, SB 103
TXAPA SB 201
TXAPA AGG 101
Other miscellaneous qualities:
Ability to travel 10% of the time
Ability to obtain missing certification within 6 month of hire
