    Pay is depending on experience. Minimum is $121,675.34/annually.

    Position Summary


    The Enterprise Architect's main duties include: designing, validating, and implementing technology infrastructure and processes at the direction of the Enterprise Architecture Manager.

    The Enterprise Architecture department is the highest tier of technical expertise within the organization, and covers multiple technical disciplines, such as:
    systems & networking infrastructure, DevOps, security, business applications, and data architecture. This role designs, plans, documents, tests, executes, trains, and provides escalated support for multiple technology platforms.

    This position identifies and oversees the mitigation of technical and operational threats; analyzes the security, supportability, and feasibility of new technology; and ensures conformance with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.

    This position requires an extremely high level of analytical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technology issues in addition to superlative process management and communication skills.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities


    • Identify and design technology solutions that fulfil business requirements and conform to security, supportability, reliability, and performance standards.
    • Create and communicate technology project and service implementation roadmaps, plans, documentation, and training.
    • Assume responsibility for the successful implementation of mission-critical technology and applications.
    • Analyze new technology solutions, conduct technical risk assessments, and summarize due-diligence recommendations.
    • Lead technical collaborations on behalf of the organization with technology vendors.
    • Oversee the management of monitoring and reporting systems, design hierarchal alerting and response to service degradation, and implement automated remediation controls.
    • Respond to escalated cybersecurity, compliance, business, and technical threats.
    • Develop well written and clearly communicated procedures and documentation for ongoing management of technology solutions.
    • Complete online, written and in-person compliance training within established timeframes.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications

    Education


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer & Networking Technology, Computer Systems Engineering, Management of Information Systems, or another related field.
    • Education can be substituted with 4 years commensurate experience managing enterprise mission-critical technology.
    Experience


    • Experience in the financial services industry highly desired.
    • Four years (including those in lieu of education) designing, implementing, and supporting mission-critical technology.
    • Related military education/experience may be used as a substitute for education or work experience.
    Licenses & Certifications


    • Cisco Certified Network professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification desired.
    • VMware Advanced Professional (VCAP) or VMware Design Expert (VCDX) certification desired.
    • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Solutions Developer (MCSD) certifications desired.
    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) certification desired.
    • Demonstrated practical experience will be accepted in lieu of certifications.

    • Leadership, supervisory, and mentoring skills desired.
    • Must understand and have the ability to implement applicable compliance requirements.

    • Self-directed, able to work independently without supervision, and be able to prioritize multiple projects to meet firm deadlines.
    Computer/Software/Other Equipment Skills


    • Must possess expert and broad knowledge of: complex client-server-based products and technologies, virtualization infrastructure, industry standard database and messaging systems, shared storage systems, enterprise security practices and technology, application development and implementation best practices, datacenter design and operations, backup and replication technology, voice and video over IP systems, fixed and mobile client computing systems, and complex networks.
    • Expert knowledge of commodity Office Suites, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
