- As a CPU Verification Engineer owning the verification of a certain area of functionality in a CPU microcode, you will have the responsibilities as follows:
- Develop microcode C based Testbench to verify the design
- Work closely with architecture and microcode designers on verifying the functionality correctness of the microcode design
- Develop and lead test plan and test environments
- Develop complex tests in assembly according to test plans
- Develop coverage monitors and analyze coverage to ensure all the test cases in the plans are covered
- Knowledge of digital logic design, CPU architecture and microarchitecture
- Experience with developing testplans/testbenches and writing/debugging assembly-based tests
- Good programming skills in assembly, C/C++ and scripting
- Experience in developing CPU simulators, processor verification a plus
- Experience with advanced verification techniques such as formal and assertions a plus
- Experience in SOC bring-up a plus

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of relevant work experience or Master's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of relevant work experience

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California:
$123,139.00-$203,801.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
