    Description

    Hamilton Form Company is currently accepting applications for Technical Sales Consultant. Hamilton Form Company builds custom steel forms for the precast, prestressed concrete industry.

    The Sales Consultant is responsible for guiding customers and prospects in choosing appropriate solutions and equipment. Sales experience, ability to travel regularly (25-50%), and experience with prestressed/precast concrete or heavy steel fabrication is a must. Candidates need to have great interpersonal skills and the ability to work with employees and customers from various backgrounds and experiences. This is a technical sales position.

    Sales Consultant works with customers to scope the project, create initial sketches, provide quote to customer, coordinate and collaborate with engineering and production departments, and maintain communication with customer throughout the entire production process and delivery of product. Sales Consultant is also responsible for records management, data entry, and administrative duties. Sales Consultant is the main contact throughout the entire sales cycle and assists customer with questions and problems after the close of the sale.

    This job is performed in a normal office environment, manufacturing plant, and in customer facilities. Regular travel (25-50%) is required within the United States and Internationally to customer plants/facilities, meetings, conferences, and the like.

    Duties include but not limited to

    · Learn and understand customer business and production needs

    · Build and maintain customer relationships

    · Visit customer production facilities

    · Prospect potential customers

    · Identify customer needs and requests

    · Document project requirements accurately and completely

    · Create initial concept sketches and provide design recommendations

    · Develop proposal and support materials and present to customers in timely manner

    · Conduct customer follow up, trouble shoot issues, and close the sale

    · Maintain regular communication with customer throughout full cycle sales process

    · Track and document status updates during full cycle sales process

    · Stay abreast of industry knowledge, trends, products, technology, standards, and best practices

    · Anticipate needs for products, processes, and customers

    · Attend and participate in association meetings, shows, conventions and the like

    · Record management, data entry and administrative duties

    Education and Work Experience Requirements

    · Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience

    · Sales experience

    · Experience with prestressed/precast concrete or heavy steel fabrication

    · Experience in manufacturing industry or similar preferred

    · Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing and screening required for position

    · Must have satisfactory driving record and valid driver's license for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties

    Salary will depend on experience. This is an exempt salary position.
