    **Description**

    The Janitor is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the building and grounds looking spotless.

    **RESPONSIBILITIES:**

    Responsible general clearing of the building and keeping it maintained, and in good, clean condition

    Responsible for vacuuming, sweeping, and moping floors

    Responsible for cleaning and stocking restrooms

    Responsible for securing all doors at locked after hours

    Responsible for cleaning spills with appropriate equipment and safety protocols

    Responsible for performing minor repairs

    Responsible to notify supervisor(s) of major needed repairs

    Responsible to collect and dispose of trash

    Responsible for completing task in a timely manner with minimal supervision

    Responsible for keeping cleaning supplies in stock

    Responsible for partnering with contract cleaning services as necessary

    Responsible for following established safety rules and regulations

    Other duties as assigned

    **REQUIREMENTS:**

    HS Diploma or GED required

    Required 1 year experience

    Must be team oriented and self-directed

    Must be able to do minor repairs

    Must possess basic math skills

    Must have the ability to safely work with different cleaning supplies

    Must be able to effectively communicate in English; verbal and written form

    Must be able to lift a maximum up to 50 lbs.

    Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time

    Must possess oral and written communication skills

    Must be committed to quality, safety and communication

    Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment.

    Must be able to work overtime and some weekends
