The University of Iowa Health Care department of Safety and Security is seeking a Hospital Security Officer to perform duties needed to maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors,
and staff in the buildings and grounds of the University of Iowa Health Care.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors,
and staff entering the hospital
Assist with wayfinding and information to patients, visitors,and staff- Perform security checks,patriot facility,and monitor special assignments/li>
Conduct incident investigations and provide documentation for follow-up/li>
Respond to and assist in all incidents regarding safety
& security - /li>
Respond to lock/unlock doors,troubleshoot elevator problems
& extricate as needed,and assist in traffic/parking enforcement/li>,/ul>Job description
