Job Summary:

This position is open to current Colorado residents only.

The Division of Facilities Management exists to plan, design, construct, operate and maintain facilities and campuses in a manner that promotes the CDHS mission.

Responsibilities include operating high pressure steam boilers coal,

natural gas and diesel

, DCS PLC's qualitative quantitative analysis all process fluids entering leaving steam plant utilizing accepted methods titration comparative qualitative analysis obtain desired results Monitor building automation system alarms need addressed during second third shifts Notify night truck mechanics or trade shop supervisors appropriate situations need immediate attention Answer phones from building tenants second third shifts determines which requests need addressed immediately Maintains plant cleanliness Ensures proper operation plant machinery including valves pumps fans turbines electric motors coal ash handling system components piping distribution system components digital control system components Troubleshoot repair restore proper operation plant machinery piping systems valves pumps fans turbines electric motors coal ash handling system components digital control system components Drives tests maintains diesel powered emergency generators accordance manufacturers specifications Joints Commissions standards Maintains grounds area surrounding building Drives state vehicles part work assignment Snow removal Other duties assigned

Position Information:
