Compensation Data

• $66,000/yr - $85,000/yr, depending on skills and qualifications

Job Duties

• Provide area observation and assistance within tree care operations, coaching employees with injury prevention processes, and recommended existing stretch and flex programs.
• Manage and direct Industrial Injury Prevention Specialists activities within Davey operations.
• Provide safety communications with employees, correct human movements, work positioning, and reporting possible discomfort.
• Present and promote Davey Industrial Athlete Program within Davey operations and tree care industry.
• Educate and train supervisors and managers with knowledge to help identify warning signs of employees demonstrating possible signs of discomfort.
• Identify high risk tasks, improvement opportunities, and implement risk factor controls.
• Research and develop continuous improvement program initiatives with Industrial Athlete Biomechanics and injury prevention.
• Understand federal, state, and local regulations for standard operations.

Qualifications

• A professional with experience leading and coaching employees within organizations.
• A self-motivated, reliable, and employee engaging industry professional.
• Demonstrated understanding of utility arborist duties, tasks, and biomechanics.
• Experience with industrial injury prevention programs.
• Desire to grow your career, team members, and our business within the tree care industry.
• Required: valid driver's license
• Preferred: Experience in kinesiology, functional movement, ergonomics, and OSHA guidelines.
• Preferred: Experience with computer literacy and documentation presentation.
