Strong analytical and software skills are a must in order to join our team, and we are particularly seeking candidates with experience and skills in multiple technologies, in order to contribute broadly to our team-centric approach to product development.
Job Description Motorola Solutions is hiring a Senior Product Manager to help scale our enterprise SaaS platform.The physical security product consists of a cloud-based access control system with a differentiated mobile experience that provides frictionless access to physical workspaces.
You will have ownership of the full product lifecycle and be a key factor in launching new businesses on this platform.
You must be equally comfortable planning a long term product vision and rolling up your sleeves to bring this vision to life.
You will be responsible for all of the customer touchpoints to ensure a world-class customer experience from all stakeholders including our reseller partners, professional installers, end-users, and integration partners.
This will be a high visibility role within the company and you should expect to hit the ground running.Duties vary depending on the nature of projects but will most often include:
Empower a multi-skilled product team to deliver solutions to compete against the market leaders in brand new businesses for Motorola
Focus on user experience and design to create a world-class interface
Develop product requirements and a roadmap that drives the company's vision while ensuring the customer's needs and pain-points are a priority
Build out our reporting and analytics capability to provide enterprises insight in to their usage behaviors and trends
Organize development efforts by incorporating feedback from Engineering, Sales, Support, and end-users
Lead the go-to-market efforts to ensure that all functions in the company are trained and ready for new products and features
Write specification documents to communicate the features to all stakeholders
Qualifications:
5+ years as a Product Manager
Bachelor's Degree
A solid understanding of NPI projects and Product Lifecycle Management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High energy with a passion to win in competitive markets
Extensive experience with gathering customer feedback and incorporating those into the development process
Experience in continuous product discovery and Agile methods
Ability to think creatively
Experience with data analytics preferred
The base salary for this position in California is $120,000 - $150,000. Basic Requirements
4+ years of experience as a Product Manager
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
