Description

The primary purpose of the Staff Nurse position is to skillfully administer total patient care in accordance with Emergency Nursing Standards of Practice, provides leadership and clinical expertise in the assessing, planning and delivery of emergency care.

Provides specialized primary nursing care for acutely ill and injured trauma cases in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures.

Critical Care or Medical/Surgical experience preferred. Phlebotomy Certification or IV Certification is required. Proficiency in the English language is required. Successful completion of a Progressive Care Course or Progressive Care Certification preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word. Ability to organize care/activities of multiple patients.
