- Drive recruitment strategy and enhance talent management program to promote Brainerd as a best-in-class employer of choice.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
- Proactively source, network and maintain relationships with prospective candidates, professional organizations, job boards, and other talent sources.
- Implement creative and cost-effective methods for attracting a diverse pool of candidates.
- Ensure compliance with all hiring regulations and maintain organized records.
- Manage onboarding processes to provide new hires with a seamless and engaging experience.
- Coordinate orientation sessions, including introductions to company culture, policies, and conduct onboarding follow-up meetings for timely feedback.
- Gather feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding experience.
- Manage, recommend, design, and implement programs and initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience.
- Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for employee development, recognition, and well-being.
- Assist with annual engagement survey deployment and action item follow up to address employee morale and engagement levels and take proactive measures to address concerns.
- Organize employee events, activities, and surveys to strengthen team cohesion and satisfaction.
- Manage service anniversary program, including notification and procurement of gifts/awards.
- Assist marketing and promotional company apparel items for management and sales groups.
- Help manage and facilitate performance management program, including training users, tracking, and reporting.
- Assist Director of HR on employee relations matters and conflict resolution.
- Maintain a confidential and empathetic approach when addressing employee concerns.
- Conduct exit interviews to gather insights and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Interpret and communicate company policies and procedures to employees.
- Work with the HR Director on handling more complex HR issues as needed.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field preferred; High School diploma or GED required.
- 1 - 3 years of HR experience, preferably in recruitment, required.
- Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Advanced communication skills such that they are able to deal with senior leaders independently.
- Detail oriented, logical and methodological approach to problem solving.
- Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships across the organization.
- Uncompromising integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Must be highly organized, self-directed, and adaptable to change, able to lead/manage a project and prioritize work.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office
