Job summary
The Leave of Absence and Accommodation Program Manager will administer support and continuously refine leave and accommodation processes to align with federal and state laws. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level knowledge of these laws and demonstrate commitment to fostering an equitable workplace environment.Responsibilities
- Serve as lead resource for managers Human Resources Business Partners absence partners questions regarding leaves accommodations time off procedures Manage oversee comprehensive process staff leaves of absence leave requests including FMLA ADAA Leave long-term disability other leave types Develop implement maintain policies procedures best practices ensure effective leave management accommodation process compliant applicable legal standards Coordinate prompt accurate processing leave claims ensuring proper tracking relevant dates documentation third-party billing approvals Serve subject matter expert Workday Program Absence Module functions including time off plans not involving leaves Provide training University employees managers participate committees serve subject matter expert ADA accommodations leave absence time-off policies procedures ensure accurate system reporting across University Serve Strategic Partner responsible areas Review metrics strategically introducing solutions process improvements.
