Our client is a family that is seeking a kind, motivated, and organized individual who aspires to make a difference in others. This is a part-time evening position.

Job description:

Seeking a part-time SCL (Supported Community Living) staff who is kind, motivated, and fun individual who aspires to make a difference in the life of an adult female on the Autism Spectrum.

The primary focus of this position is to be a mentor while supporting the client both in her home and the community. Applicant must have patience, attention to detail and compassion in this role.

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, flexible evenings between the hours of 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with approximately 8-12 hours/week, with the possibility of picking up additional hours during the weekend.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Support client in building and maintaining independent living skills.
• Model and encourage healthy behaviors.
• Maintain a safe living environment.
• Assist with money management, housekeeping, personal hygiene, meal planning & prep, and other routine needs.
• Provide transportation (mileage is reimbursed).
• Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
• Providing companionship and supportive listening.
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, medical charting, etc.
• Working cooperatively with a team (staff, supervisor, and family) to ensure success.

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age
• Experience with Autism or individuals with disabilities a plus
• Must be female.
• Pass a criminal and Caregiver background check
• Have a valid Driver's License

Pay:

$12-$13/hour, based on experience
