Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supply Operator is a vital part of Newrest's operations, responsible for safely, accurately and efficiently selecting products for customer orders.

This role ensures that inflight meals and supplies are pulled, decanted and dispatched promptly, maintaining the high standards of quality and timeliness.

Responsibilities:

Order Selecting:
Read order sheet and product labels to identify items required for specific department requests. Safely and efficiently select food items, beverages and equipment from designated storage area. Ensure accuracy in product selection and proper handling.


Decanting:
Remove product from its original box/packaging and transfer to proper bin. Ensure all carts, bins, and pans are dry be use. Label all product for traceability.


Quality Control:
Inspect items for freshness, quality, and compliance with safety standards. Follow hygiene and food safety protocols during order selection. Properly package items to prevent damage during transit.


Communication:
Work closely with peers, supervisors, department managers, kitchen staff and transportation team. Communicate any challenges or issues related to order selection.


Equipment Handling:
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed. Ensure proper storage and handling of catering equipment.
