- Participate in system development and the Security Assessment and Authorization (SAA) program.
- Performs security audits, risk analysis, application-level vulnerability testing, and
- security code reviews.
- Develops and implements technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Conducts research to identify new attack vectors.
- Identify and define system security requirements.
- Serve as the Information Systems Security Officer
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Cloud engineering (preferably AWS)
- Cloud security (preferably AWS)
- Information system security
- Experience reviewing log events.
- Understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM), data and traffic encryption, audit logging, Defense-in-Depth, and Zero Trust concepts
- Strong understanding of how data flows through a system and the security relevant to data flow
- Proactive nature with a strong sense of urgency, ownership, and drive
- Cloud or security related certifications
- Experience with data parsing (scan results, log events, etc.)
- Self-starting, hands-on, detail-oriented, and/or critical-thinking qualities/skills.
- Written communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- Must be US Citizen with Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI.
