    Trinity Industries is seeking an experienced VP, Sales (National Accounts) in Houston, TX.
    This role will be responsible for understanding Trinity's enterprise and market strategy and positioning Trinity as the provider of choice. Additionally they will be responsible for understanding customer needs, product demand, and quickly and effectively sell Trinity's full service offering to drive deeper into each strategic account's supply chain. This role will require ability to provide sound financial decisions when managing their accounts, deliver a differentiated experience to our customers, and be seen as the expert for each vertical.

    What you'll do:
    • Build strong relationships across multiple levels within Major accounts (C-suite to daily decision makers)
    • Strong negotiation skills, ability to walk away, and seen as a leader in managing the full sales cycle (prospect to close)
    • Liaise with Operations, Engineering, Financial, and Systems groups to ensure total customer experience
    • Lead sales across Trinity's platform including bringing correct resources to maximize revenue and generate new business opportunities
    • Aid in setting up annual forecast and financial plan for each market segment
    • Utilize Trinity's tools to manage the business (ex. Salesforce, Tableau)
    What you'll need:
    • Bachelor's Degree required (MBA Preferred)
    • 12+ years of overall experience in Sales with concentrated experience in related industry, B2B Sales & Leasing
    • Rail industry knowledge and general understanding of railroad equipment
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Experience solution-selling into a market
    • Experience negotiating and closing deals
