    Charleston ENT & Allergy in HHI has immediate need for a qualified Medical Assistant (CCMA, CMA, NCMA or RMA) to join our growing team Critically important to the success of the practice, our Medical Assistants are our front line, interacting with patients and their families on a daily basis, and at every stage of process.

    Whether on the phone, online, or in person, CENTA's Medical Assistants are trusted with the ultimate responsibility—ensuring outstanding patient experience, the key to our continued success.

    Take advantage of our COMPETITIVE pay scale. We offer $16.00-$18.00/hourly, depending on experience. Receive a performance review after your first year of employment This can add up to $18.00-$20.00/hourly after your first year Don't miss out

    Medical Assistant duties include:

    • Patient check in/out
    • Clinic opening and closing
    • Triaging patients and assisting physicians with patients and procedures
    • Scheduling testing
    • Calling in prescriptions
    • Performing allergy shots, and taking vitals
    • Administering tympanometry exams for ear pressure
    • Managing hospital consultation requests for physicians
    • Floating between front and back office responsibilities as needed
    • Scanning patient records and other information as necessary
    • Contacting insurance companies to pre-certify tests and procedures for Physicians
    • Other duties as assigned
