- Serve as a technical resource to project teams by applying engineering principles and standards and lead and directing design tasks under the direction of a professional engineer
- Development of construction and bid documents in accordance with organization and client processes
- Responsible for construction administration process and directing onsite construction observation
- Ensure compliance with KLJ quality standards
- Serve as project or task manager for large scale projects with minimal support
- Quality assurance and quality control review to ensure compliance with KLJ quality standards
- Effectively communicate internally and externally to project teams, customers, and the public
- Position will be responsible to prepare and lead public, customer, and/project team meetings
- Lead and direct scope, fee, and schedule development
- Increase design competency in software(s) associated with typical project requirements
- Effectively convey engineering analysis and results in written reports and documentation
- Lead construction administration duties such as documenting activities and providing oversight
- Associates Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar degree. Applicable experience will also be considered.
- Sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, and crawl
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms
- Talk or hear and communicate clearly
- Frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
