    The Opportunity:

    Our Drayage sales team focuses on the inland movement of a shipping container from the port or rail ramp to the customer's warehouse. A container is a mobile storage unit, and companies can rent them to move their commodities across the ocean. However, like any rental unit (library books, anyone?) These containers must be returned as soon as the commodities within are emptied. The name of the game in Drayage is to find trucking companies with availability to go in the ports and rails, pick up containers on behalf of our customers and return them after they have been emptied out.

    Responsibilities-
    • Create sales leads lists using Panjiva, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and other resources
    • Prospect potential customers through cold-calling and email outreach
    • Create pricing for Drayage lanes (EX: Savannah to Atlanta) and coordinate capacity with trucking companies through carrier relationships
    • Build shipments in our TMS and schedule container pick-up and delivery appointments
    • Manage the financials of your book of business
    • Partner with the Drayage Operations team to facilitate the end-to-end Drayage move
    • Collaborate with all Steam departments
    Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience-
    • Logistics experience or sales experience preferred but not necessary – We want your hustle
