**General Summary of Purpose:**

As our **FC Inventory Clerk/Stocker**, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory throughout the system to support order fulfillment operations.

**Essential Functions:**

Run and work various system reports to proactively address inventory issues, to include product mix between buildings and held orders

Direct the movement of product to and from locations in accordance with slotting procedures

Solve problems noted by Stockers, Supervisors, and customer service staff by physically counting and checking merchandise in warehouse and submitting problems to Supervisor

Research inventory variance reports to ensure accuracy

Monitor product expiration dates and coordinate removal from stock

Maintain warehouse adjustments and adjustment codes

Count inventory located throughout warehouse and verify quantity, case packs, item number, and other information in accordance with cycle count schedule

Routinely clean-up old inventory to maintain location accuracy

Review bin transactions and history to research inventory discrepancies; recommend solutions and corrective actions to Supervisor

Prepare product samples for internal customers

Accurately records time and job functions using electronic time sheets

Follow company policies, procedures, and safe work practices

Interact and communicate with peers to achieve department objectives and goals

Actively participate in impact planning sessions and work to improve engagement

Maintains regular and predictable attendance

Abides by all policies and procedures of Oriental Trading Company

Maintain active pick zones by keeping product organized on shelves and stocking product to meet demand

Move product to and from locations in accordance with slotting procedures as directed by the Inventory team

Uses RF equipment to scan locations and product

Work in a performance management environment; comply with all procedures as outlined in the OTC XP Associate Handbook

Work requires in-person collaboration among colleagues and contractors

Must be able to attend face to face meetings on short or little advance notice

Knowledge of inventory control normally acquired through OTC job experience

Ability to communicate and understand English in verbal and written form

Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team environment

Ability to respond with flexibility to changing work demands

May be necessary to work required extra hours, including weekends based on business needs

May be required to perform any of the above functions at any of the company locations

High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

OTC Fulfillment Center experience preferred

Must be able to walk or stand almost continuously for the duration of the shift

Frequent climbing of stairs, to various locations in the warehouse

Ability to push, squat, bend, and reach overhead on a frequent basis

Ability to frequently move or lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally move or lift up to 75pounds in order to pull product from bins

Lift items weighing up to 40 pounds overhead

May be required to be certified in equipment operations (must be at least 18)

Ability to work in elevated work areas up to 28 feet high
