- Manages complex multi-shift nursing schedules for approximately 250 employees, on five separate nursing units, for all three shifts electronically for review by the nurse managers.
- Calculates and post the daily minimum care hours Per Patient Day (PPD) for each shift as required by federal regulation.
- Creates/updates temporary staffing agency employee schedule.
- Fills staffing vacancies in advance to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Reviews daily staffing coverage needs based on resident census, employee call- ins, vacations, and extended leave.
- Reviews and keeps an up-to-date list of active employees, part time employees, sick leave verification, family medical leave, and work-related injuries for review and approval by nurse managers forscheduling purposes.
- Maintains records for employees, disciplinary actions, update licenses. Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
